I started Velvet Roots in 2025 with simple love of vegan baking. What began as experimenting in my kitchen has grown into a small bakery, with a stall at local markets and now cookies posted straight to your door.

Everything I make is plant-based, thick-baked and made in small batches, because the best cookies are soft in the middle, golden at the edges and never rushed. Each week’s boxes are baked to order, so what you get is as fresh as it can be.

I genuinely love every part of the process: baking, packing up orders, meeting fellow small business owners and customers at markets, and of course tucking into a fresh cookie myself!
